New Math – Cold IPA

7.5% ABV 52 IBU

What is a Cold IPA?  That’s up for debate… 

We started with a simple grain bill of Pilsner malt and rice and hopped it like a hazy with Idaho 7, Citra, and El Dorado hops.  Then, we fermented it cold using our house lager yeast and dry-hopped during active fermentation, but not given an extended maturation like other lagers.  It’s a crispy, hazy beer that is the sum of its parts.
